The standard technique of fat removal from lower lid is by incision below the eyelid through the skin,occularis muscle and then fat was removed,some muscles and skin of lower lid may be removed in the same time. This technique may left some scar seen after operation and extrovert lid that is unfavorable result.
Now in our clinic we use the new technique by operated from inside via conjunctiva that result in no scar and the patient recover very fast(1 day) and no wound care need, less edema or swelling.
