DIMPLE CREATION SUTGERY

The procedure is carried out under local anesthetic, meaning that the patient is awake, though drowsy, throughout, but insensitive to pain. Doctor Pat makes a dimple from the inner surface of the cheek and creates a small depression within the cheek tissue and muscle. There is no wound after creates the dimple.

Patients can return to their place of residence following surgery and can eat normally. 

Mild pain and discomfort may be experienced post-operation, for which prescription pain medication can be used.  Some degree of swelling can be expected, but this is only temporary.
